"Combative Curriculum" in Puerto Rico

A group of teachers of the public education system in Puerto Rico created a “Combative Curriculum” (#CurrículoCombativo)  from the 2019 Puerto Rican insurrection . Its objectives are to produce activities, plans and ideas to help students talk about the events of July 2019 in Puerto Rico. In the curricular modules you can find activities and educational content to analyze the revolt, insurrection or citizen revolution. Here you will find complete lessons with activities and readings to use in language classes, Spanish, Social Studies and Arts. They base their content on the historical events of social and political struggle that have occurred in Puerto Rico since the summer of 2019. This work is part of an initiative of several teachers called the Combative Curriculum, which seeks to contribute to the education of Puerto Rico through of materials that foster critical analysis and contextualize the curriculum to political and social reality.

Use the hashtag on Facebook #CurrículoCombatico to find these pedagogical similar modules; these range from subjects such as Mathematics to Social Studies, to Arts and Language.
